Visual Arts at EAST
A joyful, process-based art studio for young artists, creative families, and curious makers in East Nashville.
Make. Play. Imagine. Create.
Visual Arts at EAST is growing into a creative home where children can paint, build, sculpt, sketch, collage, design, and dream.
Led by artist and educator Kelley Billiot, our art programming will invite students to follow their curiosity, trust their ideas, and experience the joy of making in community.
This is a space for messy hands, big ideas, brave choices, and beautiful surprises.

Children’s art classes

Meet Kelley
Kelley Billiot is a visual artist and art educator who brings warmth, creativity, and deep classroom experience to EAST Collective.
With a B.S. in Fashion Design and Merchandising and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, Kelley brings creativity, color, and joy into the elementary classroom. A longtime educator and visual artist, she loves inspiring young learners through hands-on art, imagination, and playful exploration, creating a warm and encouraging space where every child can shine creatively and confidently.
We are thrilled to have Kelley helping shape the visual arts side of EAST.
Our Art Studio Philosophy
We believe art is a language children already speak.
Our job is to give them space, materials, guidance, and encouragement so their ideas can grow.
At EAST, we value process over perfection, curiosity over comparison, and creative courage over “getting it right.”
