EAST Collective is a creative arts studio in East Nashville offering artist-led classes in theater, music, and visual art for children and adults.

Our programs are designed to nurture imagination, confidence, collaboration, and creative expression in a welcoming community where every artist belongs.

Whether your child loves storytelling, singing, acting, painting, or simply creating alongside others, there is a place for them here.

Little Story Players (4- 5y)

A playful first introduction to theater through movement, storytelling, imagination games, and simple crafts.

This class nurtures:
• Creative expression
• Listening + collaboration
• Confidence in sharing ideas
• Joyful ensemble play

Meisner Workshop (Adults - 18+)

The Art of Listening

Discover the foundations of the Meisner technique in this immersive two-hour workshop.

Together we'll explore:

• Deep listening
• Responding truthfully in the moment
• Connection over performance
• Building authentic presence

The Meisner technique helps actors move beyond planning and performance into genuine connection and spontaneous response. Through guided exercises and partner work, participants will experience the core principles that make this approach one of the most influential acting techniques in contemporary theater.

Perfect for beginners, curious creatives, educators, and experienced performers looking to reconnect with the fundamentals of truthful acting.
